Century-old war monument in Verdun remade to reflect continued sacrifice

When Verdun's war memorial was unveiled in October, 1924, its purpose was to honour Verdun residents who fought and died in WWI.

The world has seen quite a bit more conflict since then, and many more Canadians have died. Now, the monument has been changed to honour them.
