Alouettes lineman Scott Flory expected to miss extended time with torn bicep

MONTREAL - Montreal Alouettes offensive lineman Scott Flory is expected to miss an extended period of time after suffering a torn bicep.

The Als released a statement Monday saying the 37-year-old Flory, who has been with the team since 1999, will undergo an MRI on his left arm to determine whether he will miss the remainder of the season.

Flory suffered the injury during Friday night's 22-14 loss to the Calgary Stampeders at Percival Molson Stadium.

The Regina native has played his whole CFL career with Montreal, spending most of his 15 season at right guard for quarterback Anthony Calvillo.

He's a three-time Grey Cup champion and nine-time CFL all-star.

The club also announced that left guard Andrew Woodruff was placed on the nine-game injured list after suffering a concussion during the team's home opener, and that import running back Chris Jennings has been released.
