A man arrested two weeks ago for making threats on the Internet was formally charged with possession of child pornography in the Montreal courthouse Wednesday.
Police say they found 250 photographs of young girls on David Abitbol's computer.
Abitbol, 28, already faces charges in connection with making threats on the Internet and improper storage of a firearm.
Abitbol, who remains in jail, appeared in court Wednesday for a bail hearing on those charges.
The bail hearing will continue Thursday.
