The body of an 18-year-old woman has been located after she drowned in a canoe incident in Caribou Lake near Mont Tremblant Friday night.
SQ provincial police divers located the woman's body at about 3:00 p.m. following a lengthy search.
The woman was in a canoe with another young woman when it overturned and forced both into the water near midnight.
A friend was able to transport one of the two back to shore in a kayak but could not locate the other.
Emergency crews also came but were also unable to find the missing woman until Saturday afternoon.
