Part of Highway 40 eastbound in Anjou was closed Saturday after a collision involving a tractor trailer.
Around 6:30 a.m. police received call about an incident on the highway near the Roi René Blvd. exit. The truck’s driver lost control and hit the right side of the barrier wall.
The driver sustained minor injuries. He will meet with police investigators later in the day.
Police say there were no dangerous contents on the truck but towing operation took several hours. Traffic was being detoured onto the service road.
