Longueuil police are investigating a suspicious death.
The body of a woman in her sixties was found Friday in a house on Tisserard Ave. in Brossard.
Police spokeswoman Melanie Mercille said one man has been taken into custody for questioning.
Neighbours contacted authorities after saying they had not seen the woman for several days.
When police entered the home, they smelled a strong odor suggesting the death happened some time ago.
