Police say a suspect has been arrested in connection with an armed robbery in NDG Wednesday night.

The suspect was to appear in court Friday to face armed robbery charges, among others.

Police say the anti-theft alarm at the Pharmaprix on Sherbrooke St. near Grey Ave. went off around 8:45 p.m., as a man was leaving the store.

A male clerk approached the man who then sprayed the employee and a female customer with pepper spray.

The suspect was arrested late Thursday.
