CTV weather specialist Lori Graham has some good news to report this week: Spring is around the corner and days with above zero temperatures have finally arrived.

There will be some light flurries on Monday, with a high of plus one degree. And it gets better and better the rest of the week.

Tuesday will see a high of plus 5. Though it will be cloudy on Tuesday, sunny days are forecast from Wednesday to Friday.

Wednesday seems to be the best day so far, with a mix of sun and clouds and plus four degrees.

It’s a positive change from the frigid record Montreal set earlier this year, when 56 of the first 59 days of the year were below freezing, the longest stretch of cold weather since 1904.
