A fire broke out in the iconic-but-abandoned Snowdon Theatre late on Saturday afternoon.
Roughly 90 firefighters were on the scene to put out the blaze, which they said started on the second floor of the three-story building.
Ten people were evacuated from an attached residential property, though nobody was hurt.
The theatre opened in 1937 and was famed for its lavish art deco design.
