Two men have been arrested after they were seen trying to set fire to a downtown restaurant early Thursday.
The suspects threw a Molotov cocktail inside Icone restaurant on St. Laurent Blvd. around 4 a.m.
Witnesses noted what the men were wearing and described their car to police, who found two people in a car matching the witnesses’ description soon after the suspects were seen fleeing the scene.
The men, both in their 20s, were arrested and will be questioned by police later Thursday.
The accelerants extinguished on their own before they could cause any major damage to the restaurant.
