Animal rights group PETA is offering an award of up to $5,000 for anyone with information that leads to the arrest in the case of a dog that was fed meat balls containing razor blades.
On June 17, an unknown person or group of people threw meatballs containing X-Acto-style blades into the Rosemont backyard of Pierre Szalowski. The blades cut the inside of his dog Molly’s mouth, throat and stomach.
The dog was rushed into surgery and is expected to make a complete recovery.
Anyone with information is asked to call Montreal police.
