Once again Facebook has been revealed to know a whole lot more about its users than they suspect, including every site they visit on the internet, says Elias Makos.

"Cookies play an important role on the internet," Makos said.

"When you go to a cart and go away from the web site and come back and it's still in your cart that's thanks to cookies."

"Facebook also has cookies, when you become a member and join us they place cookies in your web browser so they can track you and provide you with a better interface."

The problem for many people is that Facebook is installing a second cookie on their computer that tracks every website they visit for 90 days.

"The kicker is you go to a web site, there's a Facebook button and share button on a news site.Any web site that has those Facebook buttons, Facebook can track that," he said.
