More reasons to avoid the Bonaventure: lane, road closures until year's end

Work on the Bonaventure Expressway means one lane will be closed for the next six months.

The right-hand lane of the inbound elevated highway will close at 5 a.m. on Tuesday July 19 and is scheduled to re-open at the end of December.

While crews prepare the roadway, the highway will be closed in both directions the nights of Monday July 18, Tuesday July 19, and Wednesday July 20.

In the meantime, crews will also be repaving Pierre Dupuy Ave. and Mill Rd. (Chemin Des Moulins).

As of 5 a.m. Monday July 18, crews will close the Mill Rd. access ramp to the Bonaventure until the end of August.

Crews will also close the Pierre Dupuy exit from the Bonaventure every weekend from July 23 until August 14.
