The Montreal Impact roster is shaping up for the 2014 season, as the team announced Thursday that they are picking up contract options on netminders Evan Bush, Maxime Crépeau, Troy Perkins, defenders Matteo Ferrari, Karl W. Ouimette and Maxim Tissot and midfielders Patrice Bernier, Felipe, Wandrille Lefèvre, Calum Mallace, Justin Mapp, Zakaria Messoudi, Sanna Nyassi, Blake Smith and Collen Warner.

Zarek Valentin, who played in Norway last season, will not be on the Impact in 2014, as the two sides could not come to terms on a deal.

The status of Nelson Rivas, Andrés Romero and Daniele Paponi has not been determined as of yet, according to the club.

Andrea Pisanu bade farewell to the team several days ago and wrote a note to that effect on Twitter several days ago.

Five players are still under contract for 2014: defenders Jeb Brovsky, Hassoun Camara and Adrian Lopez, midfielder Hernan Bernardello and striker Andrew Wenger.

Marco Di Vaio will also be returning, the team confirmed on October 15.

Frank Klopas was signed as manager of the club Wednesday, replacing Marco Schällibaum.
