MONTREAL - After dominating water cooler chatter Monday for her Super Bowl halftime performance, the Material Girl kept her name in the news Tuesday by announcing that she's hauling her cone bras and fishnets to Montreal for a show at the Bell Centre August 30.

It will be Madonna's first visit to Montreal since 2008. Prior to that she performed in Montreal in 2006 and 1993.

Tickets are expected to cost up to $350 each.

The 53-year-old pop veteran then heads on to an even larger Quebec stage, hitting the Plains of Abraham for an outdoor extravaganza September 1.

Unlike other high-profile shows, such as by Paul McCartney and Celine Dion, the outdoor Quebec City gig will not be free to attend.

Tickets to the Montreal show go on sale February 18 and the Quebec City tickets a day earlier.

Madonna's Super Bowl medley on Sunday in Indianapolis was brought to life by a multimedia show provided by Montreal's Moment Factory but it was not immediately clear whether they would be doing similar duty on this tour.

Five Canadian cities are included on the itinerary for Madonna's 2012 World Tour, which begins May 29 in Tel Aviv, Israel.

After 24 other overseas concerts ending Aug. 21 in Nice, France, Madonna performs the first of about 25 North American shows in

After stops in Boston and New York, Madonna will perform at Scotiabank Place in Ottawa on Sept. 10 and at the Air Canada Centre in Toronto on Sept. 12.

The final Canadian stop of the tour is Sept. 29 at Rogers Arena in Vancouver.
