A 72-year-old man was shot and killed in Ahuntsic-Cartierville on Thursday afternoon.

According to police, the shooting happened near the Cafe Sinatra near Fleury and D'Iberville at 3:55 p.m. The man, who a CTV source indentified as Angelo D'Onofrio, was struck by one bullet. He was taken to hospital in critical condition and was declared dead several hours later.

Police said they are looking for a supect, who they described as a black man with dreadlocks.
