The Highway 25 toll bridge is generating record profits for the Quebec government.
The public-private-partnership gave Transport Quebec $11.3 million for the 2013-2014 operating year.
The bridge runs the stretch of highway between Henri-Bourassa Blvd. in Montreal and Highway 4-40 in Laval.
The number of trips on the bridge has also soared beyond expectations to 15 million per year.
Earlier this year, the tolls rose by 26 per cent to $3.16 per passage during peak hours.
