Several people had to evacuate their homes overnight because of fire on their balconies.
The fire began around 2:30 a.m. in a kitchen at the rear of a home on Rouen St.
It spread to a shed on the balcony, and firefighters ordered several families to evacuate their homes while they put out the flames.
The damage was limited to one unit, although the people living there will need to make repairs before they can move back home.
Volunteers from the Red Cross were on hand overnight to provide shelter.
