Educ'alcool launches responsible drinking campaign as school year begins

As the school year begins, Educ’alcool is launching a campaign to promote responsible drinking on CEGEP and university campuses.

Director General Hubert Sacy said initiation rituals like frosh can involve heavy drinking for many participants. He said such events should not be synonymous with alcohol abuse.

Sacy emphasized that the consequences of excessive consumption can be very serious and can even be fatal.
