A cyclist is in critical condition after he was hit by a car Sunday morning at a downtown intersection.
Police say he was crossing Viger at Panet St. at around 7:35 a.m. when he was hit.
Police say the cyclist tried to cross the street against the light and the driver of the car had no chance to stop.
The cyclist remains in hospital with serious head injuries.
