Following a six-week labour dispute, employees at Montreal's Bonaventure Hotel have approved a new contract.
A vast majority of unionized employees voted in favour of the contract this week,
The four year collective agreement includes pay raises of 3% for the first three years, and 4% for the final year.
It also comes with improvements to vacations and severance pay in the event of technological change.
Two dozen CSN union locals have been in labour disputes with hotel operators over the past few months, and 12 of them have negotiated new contracts.
At the Bonaventure Hotel, employees launched a 36-hour strike on Sept. 24, and were then locked out by management the following day.
