Former international soccer superstar Zinedine Zidane is coming to Montreal along with other star players for a friendly match at Molson Stadium on June 28.

Soccer stars Samuel Eto'o, Fabien Barthez and Christian Vieri will also take part.

It will be the first stop on a cross-country tour that will take the star-studded group to Toronto's BMO Stadium on June 25 and to Vancouver's BC Place Stadium on July 4.

Representatives from Adlani Soccer announced the details of the Zidane & Friends Canadian Tour to benefit UNICEF, which helps millions of children in 156 countries.

Zidane led France to a World Cup title in 1998 and a European Championship in 2000.

As goodwill ambassador to the UN development program, Zidane makes regular tour appearances in Europe, Africa and Asia.

Tickets for the Montreal game range between $21 and $198.
