It's been a tumultuous week in politics, with the Parti Quebecois floating several plans which are generating a lot of talk among Quebecers.
Education minister Marie Malavoy has suggested that francophone school boards are spending too much time teaching English, something which analysts Don Macpherson and Jean Lapierre think is not very well thought out.
"All these points she raised this week about the teaching of history and teaching of English as a second language and subsidy for private schools, these are all issues within the Parti Quebecois," said Macpherson, who also said that the PQ is trying to win back support it lost to Quebec Solidaire.
"You are giving her too much credit," said Lapierre.
"I think she does a lot of thinking publicly, and I think it's a mistake. She will probably have to backtrack again."
