A hit song of theirs may have been called One, but on Saturday, U2's magic number was two.
A second concert will be added to the U2 stop in Montreal to be held at Hippodrome this summer.
U2's 360-degree tour promoters announced Saturday the second show will be held Saturday, July 17, 2010. Tickets for that show go on sale at noon Monday, Nov. 30. Prices range from from $30 to $250.
It was confirmed Monday the pop supergroup would play one show before 60,000 fans at a custom-made, claw-shaped stage next July. Tickets for the July 16th show are sold out.
The stage will feature a cylindrical video system of interlocking LED panels and a steel structure rising 150 feet from the floor over a massive stage with rotating bridges.
Construction
More than 300 people will work for two months to assemble the stage off site. More than 300 trucks will then transport the grandstands to the site on Decarie Blvd. It will take another month to dismantle the stage.
Tickets
Tickets will be available at the Bell Centre Box Office.
