The New Year will bring new and higher transit rates in Montreal and Longueuil.
As of Jan. 1, a monthly STM pass will cost $70.
It'll be $38.75 for a reduced fare pass.
In Longueuil, the price of a monthly pass will rise to $81 - for a reduced fare, it'll be $48.50.
Prices are also going up for train passes.
A Zone 3 Tram pass that allows users to take the bus, the metro or the commuter train, will cost $111 - up $2.
