The city of Montreal has pulled in record revenues from parking tickets and road infractions.
Drivers were slapped with a total of $82 million in fines in 2008 from more than 1.8 million tickets.
That allowed the city to rake in $135 million once interest and extra fees were factored in.
All of those numbers were up from 2007.
Ticket revenues jumped after after Montreal set up its 133-member road security squad.
