A commercial section of Panama St. in Brossard was the site of a spectacular car crash Monday at 2:30 a.m. when a driver, possibly competing in an illegal street race, lost control, leading his car to flip several times before landing on its roof.
Witnesses say two cars were racing at high speeds westbound when one motorist – driving a car carrying three passengers - lost control just before Pelletier.
The driver and one passenger were taken to hospital, one suffering a light concussion and the other hip and shoulder injuries.
The second driver was not implicated in the accident.
All involved are aged between 15 and 19.
