MONTREAL - Carey Price has been chosen to represent the Habs at the All-Star Game in North Carolina this month.
After being voted a starter for the Eastern Conference in the 2008 game in Montreal, the 23-year-old goalie received an invite to attend the midseason classic again this year.
Price was second in fan voting earlier this month, losing out by a small margin to Penguins netminder Marc-Andre Fleury for the starting job.
Price has played an NHL-high 38 games this season, earning the 23-year-old has earned a 21-14-3 record in that span to go with his four shutouts, 2.31 goals-against average and sparkling .921 save percentage.
On Jan. 6, Price became the seventh goalie in NHL history to post three 20-win seasons before his 24th birthday.
