An 88-year-old man suffered serious head injuries but is expected to survive after being hit by a car.
The man was walking his dog on Ste. Catherine Street around 6 a.m. Tuesday when he crossed Mackay St. and was hit by an SUV.
The pedestrian was rushed to hospital in critical condition but is expected to survive.
Police closed the intersection to traffic for two hours while they reconstructed the scene and tried to determine who was at fault.
