The Montreal Transit Corporation is extending the deadline for students to renew their Opus cards.
Each school year, students between 12 and 25 must renew their reduced fare privilege card by Oct. 31.
But many students eligible for the reduced fare haven't done so.
So the STM has extended Saturday's deadline to Nov. 15.
The transit agency has opened up extra service stations for students to renew their cards.
Students can renew their cards at six metro stations from Monday to Friday from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m.:
- Cote-Vertu
- Lionel-Groulx
- Honore-Beaugrand
- Jean-Talon
- The STM Terminus at Fairview-Pointe-Claire.
Students can also go to the Customer Service Centre at Berri-UQAM station from Monday to Friday from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. and weekends from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
