MONTREAL—An employee at Formula One hotspot Buonanotte was taken to hospital overnight after being stabbed by another man.

Police said the employee, in his 40s, was stabbed in the upper body following an altercation with the man at 2:15 a.m.

The suspect, also in his 40s, was arrested on the scene and taken into custody for questioning.

Police do not fear for the person’s life. No motive for the stabbing was given.

Buonanotte, located at 3518 Saint-Laurent Boulevard, is one of the main late-night stop-off points during the annual Canadian Grand Prix.
