MONTREAL - Luka Rocco Magnotta is due back in court today to resume his preliminary hearing.
Magnotta is charged with first-degree murder in the slaying and dismemberment of Chinese-born student Jun Lin last May.
The hearing, which is to determine if there is enough evidence to send the case to trial, broke off in late March.
None of the evidence presented at the hearing can be published because of a court-ordered ban, but it has already led to some emotional moments.
Last month's testimony brought Lin's father, Darin Lin, to tears and forced him to rush out of the courtroom.
Magnotta has pleaded not guilty to all charges and has chosen trial by judge and jury.
