A small bit of good news for drivers frustrated with weekend construction woes – this is the last weekend of work for the spring blitz on the Champlain Bridge.

This weekend, however, construction continues.

Two lanes inbound will be open, and only one lane toward the South Shore on Friday from 9 p.m. to Saturday at 8 a.m. and at 7 p.m. Sunday until Monday 5 a.m.

Otherwise, there are two lanes open in each direction.

Part of the Ville-Marie Tunnel is also closed. The eastbound side is down to one lane, and drivers are forced off at the St. Laurent Blvd. exit. The lane closures will continue until 5 a.m. Monday.

Both sides of Highway 13 are closed between Highway 40 and Highway 20 this weekend, while work is being done in the Dorval Tunnel. The section of highway will be closed also until Monday 5 a.m.

Lane closings are taking place on the Mercier Bridge. Only one lane toward Montreal will be open from 5 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday.

There will be no access via the Châteauguay ramp from Saturday 6 a.m. to Sunday at 6 p.m.

That bridge will be reduced to one lane in each direction until Aug. 11 to replace a section of the deck and complete other work.
