Montreal Canadiens legend Jean Beliveau was transported to hospital on Monday, but is expected to be released later in the day.
He was attending a funeral service for Pere Paul Aquin when he fell ill. Urgences Sant� was called and Beliveau was taken to hospital. The funeral service was held this morning at 11 a.m. at the Chapelle de L'Eglise St. Laurent in St. Laurent.
Beliveau was taken to the Montreal General Hospital with a drop in blood pressure. He is expected to be released.
