Youngsters Louis Leblanc and Nathan Beaulieu are hoping to give the well-rested Montreal Canadiens (27-17-5) a boost as the team visits the conference-leading Penguins (34-13-2) tonight at 7 p.m.

The Penguins have been almost unbeatable at home with a 20-4-0 record, reeling off 13 straight home wins before getting blasted 5-1 by the Florida Panthers on Monday.

The Canadiens have been off since dropping a 5-3 decision Saturday in Toronto, a game which saw goals from Brendan Gallagher, Brian Gionta and David Desharnais, while Carey Price ceded four goals on 29 shots in the loss.

The Habs had managed to tie the game midway through the third period as Desharnais tipped in a P.K. Subban shot but Tyler Bozak scored the winner after sprinting in down the right wing past the defensive pairing of Andrei Markov and Alexei Emelin.

Emelin and Raphael Diaz are expected to be healthy scratches, as Coach Michel Therrien continues to tinker with the defence. Douglas Murray and Francis Bouillon are expected to play instead.

Brian Gionta told CTV Montreal Tuesday that penalties could be a big factor against the high-powered Pens.

“Special teams are always the big battle with a team like that. They’re so dangerous at both ends so we’ve got to be careful," he said.

Teammate P.K. Subban said that discipline will be key.

“When you’re playing great teams you have got to bring your A game, especially when you know they’ve got firepower over there like (Sidney) Crosby and (Evegeni) Malkin,” said Subban. “We just have to be consistent in doing the right things. Once we get back to that we’ll be fine.”

Pittsburgh has welcomed back four players from injury, as defenceman Paul Martin returned from a broken leg Monday while forwards James Neal, Chuck Kobasew and Jayson Megna are also back after being sidelined.

Marc-Andre Fleury, who has given up seven goals to the Canadiens in his last two starts, is expected to start in nets for the Penguins.

Nonetheless the Habs will have a tough task in Pittsburgh as the Penguins lead the Eastern Conference with 157 goals scored and sit in second place with 120 goals against. Crosby has a big lead in NHL scoring with 68 points in 49 games.
