MONTREAL -Lin Jun was remembered at a silent vigil held at Dorchester Square in downtown Montreal Thursday.

About 100 people showed up and lit incense and held candles at the memorial to the victim of murder and dismemberment.

A makeshift shrine was set up with candles set up near the flowerbeds.

Lin's torso was found in a suitcase outside an apartment building near Decarie on May 29.

One of his hands and feet were sent to two political offices in Ottawa while another hand and foot was sent to two Vancouver schools.

Luka Magnotta is awaiting extradition to face charges for the murder.
