MONTREAL - Vandals tossed a Molotov cocktrail into Café Glatt Casher in Cote des Neiges at about 2 a.m. Friday, causing considerable water damage, as firefighters were forced to douse the blaze.
Some neighbours of the café at 5390 Queen Mary, just west of Decarie, were forced to temporarily evacuate their homes, but nobody was hurt.
The fire was deemed suspicious after several incendiary devices were found on the scene.
The owner is not known to police and he told investigators that he has not received any threats.
