MONTREAL - A benefit concert is being held Wednesday night to help victims of flooding in the Richelieu Valley.

It's one of several events scheduled over the next two weeks to raise funds.

Wednesday's concert, organized by the Red Cross, takes place at Montreal's Olympia Theatre starting at 7 p.m.

Featured performers include Gregory Charles, Simple Plan, and half a dozen more Quebec musicians.

Tickets are $20.

Meanwhile two concerts will take place on June 7 and 13 in St. Jean sur Richelieu at the Theatre des Deux Rives.

Those shows will cost at least $50 per seat, begin at 7:30 p.m. and feature performances from a variety of Quebec comedians.
