MONTREAL - The Occupy Wall Street movement started in Manhattan and spread to the world before camps were dismantled one by one as winter set in.

Now author and activist Judy Rebick was written a book about the movement called Occupy This.

She feels the Occupy movement is not a failure, but instead is a paradigm shift among young adults.

"I think we have to understand Occupy in a broader context, in that it's basically a generation now, globally, that's rising up against the system now. A system where the rich get richer and the poor get poorer and all the resources go to the rich," said Rebick.

"In many ways the student strike here is part of this movement."
