A 34-year-old woman is in critical but stable condition after her bicycle made contact with a SUV near the intersection of Vauquelin and Chambly in Longueuil Wednesday evening at about 9:15 p.m.
The woman, who was wearing a helmet, was transported to hospital.
She suffered multiple fractures but is expected to survive.
Investigators were not immediately able to shed light on the circumstances surrounding the accident.
