Two men were stabbed after a fight broke out on the corner of McGill and Notre-Dame streets just as bars were closing on Saturday.

It happened at around 3 a.m.

According to police a 32-year-old man was stabbed in the upper body and a 31-year-old doorman who tried to break up the fight was stabbed in the lower body.

Both men were sent to hospital and police have confirmed their lives are not in danger.

The reason for the fight is unknown and so far police have no suspects.
