Santa Claus is coming to town on Saturday.

The annual parade will march down Ste. Catherine St., from Fort St. all the way to the Quartier des Spectacles.

The first floats start rolling at 11 a.m., and for two hours hundreds of people and dozens of floats will make their way east.

More than 500 costumes were produced for the parade

The fat man in the red suit will make it to St. Urbain St. around 1 p.m.

Many streets that cross Ste. Catherine St. will be closed to traffic before and during the parade, so driving downtown will not be the smartest option.

The parade organizers recommend taking public transit, which is free for up to five children under the age of 12 on weekends, as long as they are accompanied by an adult.
