A professional tennis player from Quebec has been arrested in Bradenton, Florida.
Pierre-Ludovic Duclos allegedly tried to convince a 13-year-old girl to have sex with him.
Police say the 27-year-old was communicating with the girl via text messages, but a Manatee County police officer assumed the identity of the teenage after the initial discussion.
Police arrested Duclos after he allegedly agreed to meet the girl in person. Authorities say Duclos confessed to the crime during questioning.
Duclos is originally from Ste. Foy, Quebec.
