Montreal police say a man accused of sexually assaulting six women may have attacked other people.

Richard Chassagne, 50, is charged with sexually assaulting, confining, and attacking multiple people between September 2014 and June 2015. Most of the alleged attacks took place in Montreal's downtown core.

Chassagne was arrested on June 23, 2015.

Police describe the six victims who have come forward to date as people "in a vulnerable situation."

Officers believe Chassagne has attacked more people and is appealing to the public to come forward.

Chassagne is 1.74 m and 114 kg (5'9", 250 lbs) with blue eyes and brown hair.

Anyone who wishes to file a complaint can call 9-1-1 or visit their local police station.
