Police have identified the vehicle that ran down an 84-year-old woman in May.

The woman survived the impact, but suffered serious head injuries that have caused permanent damage.

On Friday May 13, 2016, the woman was crossing Saint Michel Blvd. at Charland Ave at 10:30 p.m. when she was stuck by a driver who fled the scene.

Police have determined the driver was at the wheel of a red Hyundai Genesis two-door coupe, with a 2L turbo engine, model year 2010 to 2012.

The car's passenger side mirror is missing and there could be damage to the front right side of the car.

The Genesis had a tinted rear window, but that tint may have since been removed.

Anyone with information about the car, or its driver, is urged to call Info-Crime at 514-393-1133 or to cal 9-1-1.
