The Image + Nation Festival runs from Thurs. Nov. 21 to Dec. 2 at Cinema du Parc.

Celebrating its 25th anniversary, it is the largest and oldest festival in Canada celebrating films by, for, and about the international lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender community.

Charlie Boudreau is the Executive Director of the festival and he spoke with Mutsumi Takahashi.

"The festival was born 25 years ago from the need to see ourselves, tell our own stories and basically decide our own representations on screen.

And oddly 25 years later, if one sits and reflects, the same needs are still there in different perspectives," said Boudreau.
