Man shot in hand during armed assault in Pincourt

A man sustained minor injuries late Thursday when he was shot outside his Pincourt home.

Around 11 p.m., the man had just sat down in his vehicle, parked in the lot at his Forest Ave. home, when someone wearing a balaclava approached the car and shot at him through the window.

The bullet hit his hand. The man was able to drive away and came across Surete du Quebec police officers a short distance away, who called him an ambulance.

The victim is not known to police. He has been released from hospital and police plan to interrogate him Friday.
