Colton St-Pierre Louis, 26, has been charged in court with second degree murder in connection with the stabbing death of a man that took place in Montreal East early Wednesday morning.
The murder, the city's third of 2015, was the result of a stabbing that erupted as a result of an argument between several people inside an apartment at 2700 George V, near Pierre de Courbertin.
The victim was named Pascal Cronier.
Police reported another murder later Wednesday, the city's fourth of the year, which is not believed to be related.
