A man and a pregnant woman died in a violent collision in the Limoilou district of Quebec City Sunday evening.
The vehicles crashed into each other at the intersection of 4th Ave. and 18th Street, a residential area, around 11 p.m. The impact propelled both vehicles into the façade of an apartment building.
The victims, both aged in their late twenties, were in the same car. A young woman in the other vehicle was seriously injured, but is expected to live.
Quebec police investigators are trying to determine the circumstances of the crash. It is not yet known exactly what happened, but police believe one of the two cars had a red light.
