Longueuil police are looking for a robber who was caught on camera stealing from stores.

Police say the man held up a hairstylist salon on Nov. 24, and a pharmacy on Nov. 26. Both crimes took place on Chambly Rd. between 5:30 p.m. and 6 p.m.

In the first crime the man approached the cashier of the salon, pulled out a knife, and demanded the cash in the till. Once she handed it over he ran off.

In the second incident the thief struck as a cashier was dealing with a customer. When the cashier opened the till the thief ran behind the counter, pushed the cashier aside, then grabbed cash and ran away, kicking the store's manager when he tried to stop him.

The suspect was caught on camera as he fled one store.

He is a white male around 40 years old who stands 1.75 m and weighs about 90 kg (5'9", 200 lbs).

He has short grey hair, and was wearing a grey jacket with red zipper pulls and faded blue jeans.
